MOM 2 MOM Sale, Community Yard Sale & Fun Fair
When: Saturday, June 8 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Where: Stornoway Crescent Public School
What: Don’t miss Stornoway Crescent Public School’s 15th annual Mom to Mom Sale, Community Yard Sale and Family Fun Fair. Over 40 vendors will be selling tons of indoor and outdoor toys, bikes, clothes, baby gear, and other children’s items. In addition… you will find household items, books, sporting equipment, small appliances, furniture, electronics, decorative and seasonal items, and so much more!

Vaughan Celebrates Concerts in the Park 2019
When: Starting, Wednesday, June 5 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Where: Various Locations in Vaughan
What: The annual FREE Concerts in the Park series returns on select Wednesdays in June and July presented by TD and Event Sponsor Tim Hortons. The series features free city-wide professional entertainment for all ages with genres ranging from Motown, funk, and rock to pop! This year is an extra special one as we celebrate our 25th anniversary! Details at vaughan.ca/concerts
Markham Village Music Festival
When: Friday June 14 & Saturday June 15, 2019
Where: Main Street Markham & Morgan Park
What: The Festival starts Friday night at 6 pm with The Taste of Markham, a cultural celebration. Join your neighbours and come for dinner and sample cuisine from around the world. Be entertained by the many diverse cultural communities including Chinese, Indian, Caribbean, Macedonian and many more. Rest for a while at one of the pubs or restaurants on Main Street. Shop till you drop at the international craft booths or visit one of the retail businesses that have Festival Specials for the weekend. Then finish the evening off with a selection of three great bands.
Lots to do for kids at Morgan Park
This year in Morgan Park there will be inflatables provided by Bounce Events including an obstacle course, and an inflatable reserved just for the smallest festival attendees. There will also be popcorn, candy floss and snow cones.
CPAC Summer Festival
When: June 15 @ 2:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Where: Mel Lastman Square
What: The Summer Festival is hosted annually by the Chinese Professional Association of Canada (CPAC). It is a large outdoor and family-oriented event held in a carnival format, and traditionally attended by thousands of participants. This year we invite you to join us in a day of family fun, among various cultures in celebration of unity.
Following our tradition, the 16th Annual Summer Festival will have FREE ADMISSION, as well as free entry in our lucky draws and games to WIN PRIZES! Not only have we prepared hours of premium live stage performances, ethnic foods, and exhilarating games, we also have great prizes for you to win – thanks to our generous sponsors and donors.

This year’s performances are a fusion of many different cultures. We feature traditional Chinese dancing and martial arts coming from Multi-Culture & Folk Arts Association of Canada and many other cultural associations.
Night It Up!
When: July 12 – 14, 2019
Where: Markham Civic Centre
What: Night It Up! is an outdoor festival showcasing a mosaic of delicious Asian street foods complemented by local talents’ nightly performances, styled in the vein of night markets from Taiwan, Hong Kong and across Asia.
Organized by Power Unit Youth Organization, Night It Up! is unique in our mission to encourage youth development while maintaining our commitment towards the community. Through donating our profits to a beneficiary, we hope to set a precedent in youth to learn, grow, and share.
5th Annual AlohaFest Toronto
When: Saturday, July 27 @ 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
Where: Mel Lastman Square
What: Hālau Hula I Ka Lā (“Hula School in the Sun”) is excited to present the 5th anniversary of AlohaFest Toronto, the city’s original and only united celebration of Polynesian culture. On Saturday July 27th from 11am-7pm, we will share the Aloha spirit through cultural musical and dance performances, fun kids’ crafts and unique items available at the AlohaFest Marketplace. AlohaFest Toronto is one of the few places in the city where guests can indulge in both local favourites and unique Hawaiian treats. AlohaFest Toronto will take place rain or shine.
