Equipped with a tool created by MIT that uses drag and drop components, it enables your child to make a fully functional app that integrates with the phone’s sensors. Campers will walk away with their own app that you can use on your phone!

Campers created a plethora of apps! These included their own paint app, sound board app, location app. They also designed a quiz app based on a topic of their choice. Campers also created a game similar to the popular arcade game, Space invaders.

In another project, campers created an app where they designed a character and tap buttons to make it grow or evolve! They also created a gaming app where you have to avoid enemies and pick up collectibles along the way. Campers learned how to incorporate different components of the phone’s built-in functions such as the clock, touch sensor, and location sensor into their apps.
