Summer Camp Highlights: Featuring Transportation-Themed LEGO Robotics and Super Mario-Themed PC Game Development!

July 27th – 31st, 2020

We were blown away by the creativity of our students this week! Students in our LEGO Robotics camp created their own robot by designing the mechanics and writing custom programs to control it. Students in our PC Game Development camp created their own version of Super Mario. They drew their own characters, built multiple levels, and created smart enemies that become more dangerous as time goes on. We are incredibly proud of their progress. Kamran invented his own Yacht robot, leveraging gear ratios he learnt from camp to speed up the propeller and included a safety feature that stops the yacht if someone is in front of it!
James explains how he made the enemies smart and added the ability for his character to fly. The sky is the limit for his character in James’s platforming game!
