Summer Camp 2024 Highlights: Featuring LEGO Robotics and Roblox Game Development

August 6th – 9th, 2024

Students in our LEGO Robotics camp built rovers that can roam around flat and angled surfaces, measure the inclined angle, and detect edges so it won’t fall off the table. They also incorporated sensors into their robot so that it can identify colour of LEGO bricks in front of it, and the robot will display the colour and play a different song for different colours. Students in our Roblox Game Development camp put together obstacle courses that their character will have to navigate through to win the game! We are incredibly proud of their progress. See highlights of what they achieved below.

Here are some video highlights of what our students accomplished!

Eylse demonstrating her robot that identifies and displays the colour!
Wyatt and Ryan demonstrating their bus robot that stops at the stop sign!
Mathis and Yousef demonstrating Jimmy, their Rover robot that roams around and stops at edges!
Christopher demonstrating the obstacle course he created for his Roblox game!
Corwin demonstrating the obstacle course he created for his Roblox game!
